Today is all about learning through visual stimuli! Some of us absorb information best by seeing it—whether through diagrams, colours, charts, or images. Use the activity ideas and examples below to try out some visual learning techniques.
Ask your child to pay attention to how much easier (or harder) it feels to remember things when they’re presented visually. If this method clicks for you, visual learning might be your child’s superpower!

Day 2: Hear It! 👂
Ever notice how some things just stick in your memory when you hear them? Maybe a song lyric you haven’t heard in years or a fact someone told you in conversation?
That’s because listening can be a powerful way to learn!
If today’s activities make learning feel effortless and fun, your child might be an auditory learner! 🎶🚀

Day 3: Do It! 🤲
Some of us can’t sit still when we’re trying to learn—and that’s a good thing! If you understand things better when you’re moving, building, or physically engaging with them, you might be a hands-on learner.
Ask your child to pay attention to how their brain responds when they’re doing instead of just reading or listening! Being active might unlock your child’s superpower!

Day 4: Play It! 🎲
Who says learning has to be serious? The best way to stay curious and engaged is to make it fun! Whether it’s a challenge, a competition, or just a silly game, today is all about playing with knowledge.
The more fun you have, the more you’ll remember! Try our Emotion Explorer Cards to support social and emotional regulation today!

Day 5: Share It! 🗣
One of the best ways for children to learn is by explaining things in their own words. When they teach, they’re not just repeating—they’re processing, connecting, and locking in that knowledge.
Not only does this help them process their learning, it’s also a beautiful way to connect and celebrate their progress. You might be surprised what they teach you!

Day 6: Think It! 💡
Some of the best learning happens when you stop and reflect. Ever had an idea suddenly “click” hours later? That’s your brain making connections! For littler people it can take longer for those connections to form, that is why it is important to encourage them to reflect to progress.
The more you question, connect, and reflect, the more your child will be able to learn and understand, no matter how they learn best!

Day 7: Love It! 💖
Today is all about looking back at the week and recognising what makes your child them—how they learn best, what excites them, and what they’re proud of.
Whether it was seeing, hearing, moving, playing, or sharing—this challenge was all about helping your child realise how capable and unique they are.
There’s no single way to learn, just the way that works for them.
💖 Celebrate that. Encourage it. And keep the adventure going—even after today!
